This was our second sailing holiday with Dan aboard Melisenda, and once again it was absolutely unforgettable. Dan took care of every detail of the itinerary, striking the perfect balance between relaxed days in quiet bays and nights in lively marinas. His local knowledge was so helpful in the fantastic restaurant recommendations—and his onboard BBQ skills and sundowner cocktails were a real highlight! Every day brought something new: hidden coves to explore, crystal-clear waters to dive into, and the sheer joy of life at sea. A holiday like no other!

I splashed out and invited five close friends to celebrate my 50th birthday this summer in Corfu, Greece. What a trip! Dan was super flexible in his hosting approach for our crowd of lads and amended the itinerary to suit our needs for morning runs and evening entertainment ashore. We all got stuck in, having various skill levels, and enjoyed some exhilarating sailing. A truly memorable experience!

I had a great experience on Dan's boat. He's a kind, safety-conscious person and the boat is very comfortable and well taken care of. We had loads of fun cooking gourmet meals, sharing good wine, swapping stories, laughing, and sailing the Mediterranean. I came on my own and shared a 10-day cruise with myself, Dan and one other crew who also came solo. I felt comfortable the entire time and right at home on the boat and with Dan as an experienced and thoughtful captain. He's a good communicator and if you are looking to gain more sailing experience, you can learn a lot.
